To download FinalMetronome binaries for various platform, go to the sourceforge download page by clicking here
Naming convention is finalmetronome-a.b.c-platform.ext where: a is the major release, b is the minor release, c is the build number, platform is your operating system (win32, linux) or 'src' wich indicate a source code release, and ext is the extention (like zip or 7z).
So for windows, you should download something like finalmetronome-a.b.c-win32.zip or finalmetronome-a.b.c-win32.7z. By the way sourceforge should redirect you automatically to the correct download for your system.
If you have downloaded a .7z file, you will need 7-Zip to decompress it. 7-Zip is an open source software that provides an high compression ratio. It's hosted on sourceforge, like LiveForMusic project.
Self-extracting exe files are available too.
